For the steak:
1 pound steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
For the haunted bourbon garlic cream sauce:
1/4 cup bourbon
1/4 cup heavy cream
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
Salt and pepper to taste
Season the Steak: Sprinkle salt and pepper evenly over the steak pieces.
Cook the Steak: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak and cook until browned and cooked to your desired doneness (3–5 minutes for medium-rare to medium). Remove from skillet and set aside.
Prepare the Sauce: In the same skillet, pour bourbon and simmer until reduced by half (about 2–3 minutes).
Add Ingredients: Stir in heavy cream, minced garlic, dried thyme, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
Combine and Serve: Return the steak to the skillet, tossing to coat in the sauce. Serve immediately with your favorite sides.
Total Time: 20 min
